Initiative Haggenberg

Fantasy, intellect, spirit of research, inquiring & contemplative mind, and enjoyment are wonderfully weaved together at Haggenberg Castle!

Together with the ’Initiative Haggenberg’, the Osmann*s continue to promote cultural events that take place on site at the castle.   

There are many reference points relating to the castle: Greek mythology, Hermeticism, the Knights Templar, free thinkers, Kabbalah, mysticism. The castle is also happy to open its doors to topics of philosophy, literature, architecture, art history, historical and political science. Finally, in Haggenberg Castle, as a former place of inspiration of the Vienna Group around Friedensreich Hundertwasser and Padhi Frieberger, art is of course a main topic.

Those who have an interest are invited to join the ’Initiative Haggenberg’ as friends of the house and, in return, can play a role in shaping the cultural venue, as well as to benefit from the offers of ’Be a Guest in Schloss Haggenberg’.
