Place of longing & hideaway

A baroque moated castle in the Weinviertel region

Sehnsuchtsort & Hideaway

Free spirits, entrepreneurs, hosts

Is it possible to feel a kind of spiritual connection to a building? "Yes" say Marion and Michael Osmann. Because that's precisely what the entrepreneurial couple felt when they were "Guests at Haggenberg Castle" for the first time. "A dinner in the ballroom. Classical music, flickering candles, and roast suckling pig in front of the open fireplace...

It was a different world, yet it felt like coming home."

In 2020, Marion and Michael Osmann acquired Haggenberg Castle with the desire to carefully preserve this exceptional property and reveal its quiet beauty. For over 25 years, the Osmann*s have been committed to respectful and sustainable work with historic buildings: high-quality renovations of old buildings and high-end new constructions that retain the character of the old structure. Michael's architectural concepts combine historic materials with traditional craftsmanship, while Marion — influenced by the world of theater — creates a feeling of home in spaces through carefully selected interiors, her own photographic art, and the perfect use of color.

When their daughter Elisabeth startet to work in the family business in 2024, Haggenberg Castle officially opened as an event venue for the first time. While Marion and Michael gave the property substance, atmosphere, and character, Elisabeth dedicated herself to the organization, logistics, and role of host. Since then, Haggenberg Castle has been a place for gatherings – for celebrations, parties, and special occasions.

WHAT ELSE ARE THE OSMANN*S DOING?

A baroque moated castle in the Weinviertel region – a place of longing and a hideaway – invites you to spend precious days at Osmann*s.
